初二学生优秀英语演讲稿(精选6篇)
Young people are often unhappy when they are with their parents. They say that their parents don't understand them. They often think their parents are too strict with them, and they aren never given a free hand.Parents often find it difficult to win their children's trust and they seem to forget how they do when they were young. For example, young people like to do things without much thingking. It's one of their ways to show that they grow up and they can do with any difficult things.Older people worry more easily. Most of them plan things ahead and don't like their plans to be changed.
When you want your parents to let you do someting, you will have better successif you ask before you really start doing it. Young people often make their parents angry by the clothes they want, the music they enjoy and something else.but they don't mean to cause any trouble. They just feel that in this way they can be cur off from the old people's world and they want to make a new culture of their own.And if their parents don't like their music or clothes or their manner of speech, the young people will feel very lonely Sometims you even don't want your parents to say "Yes"to what you do.You want stay at home alone and do what you like. If you plan to control you life, you'd better win your parents over and try to get them to understand you.If your parents see that you have high sense of responsibility, they will certainly give you the tight to do what you want to do 。

s you slowly open your eyes, look around , notice where the light comes into your room; listen carefully, see if there are new sounds you can recognize; feel with your body and spirit, and see if you can sense the freshness in the air. Yes, yes, yes, it’s a new day, it’s a different day, and it’s a bright day! And most importantly, it is a new beginning for your life, a beginning where you are going to make new desicisions, take new actions, make new friends, and take your life to a totally unprecedented level! You know all this is real as long as you are confident, passionate and committed! And you are confident, you are passionate, you are committed!
You will no longer fear making new sounds, showing new facial expressions, using your body in new ways, approaching new people, and asking new questions. You will live every single day of your life with absolute passion, and you will show your passion through the words you speak and the actions you take. You will focus all your time and effort on the most important goals of your life. You will never succumb to challenges of hardships. You will never waver in your pursuit of excellence. After all,you are the best, and you deserve the best!
As your coach and friend, I can assure you the door to all the best things in the world will open to you, but the key to that door is in your hand. You must do your part, you must faithfully follow the plans you make and take the actions you plan, you must never quit, you must never fear. I know you must do it, you can do it, you will do it, and you will succeed!
Now stand firm and tall, make a fist, get excited, and yell it out: I must do it! I can do it! I will do it! I will succeed! I must do it! I can do it! I will do it! I will succeed! I must do it! I can do it! I will do it! I will succeed!
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen
Today my topic is"Be more civilized to welcome the Expo"
As we all know, the next EXPO will be held in Shanghai in 21. We will have thousands of visitors here in our hometown, then how should we show our manners? Of course, all of us prefer to show our good manners, so we should pay attention to our daily customs, China is a traditional country with a long history. The young should show our Chinese culture and good manners to the world .I t is easy to say than to do ,most of us didn’t pay enough attention to “seven don’ts” sometimes they throw rubbish everywhere ,cross the road when the light is red .Although they know these behavirous are not good ,they still do it .I hope everyone of us can take part in this social practice .We should carry ourselves well ,respect our teachers and so on ,try to show our best manners to the world .
I think ,we should follow the next three points in our daily life :
First :Keep our clothes clean and neat ,too much make up looks unnatural for us .
Second :We should obey the old saying “See no evil ,hear no evil ,speak no evil .”
Third :We should be polite to others ,especially to the foreigners .When the Expo comes ,there will be a lot of foreigners ,we can show friendliness to them ,we can show the way to them ,say “hello “to them ,and I think our smiling faces are also necessary .
Show good manners to welcome the 21 Expo .
Are you ready?
That’s all .Thank you .

it‘s my honor to have a speech here. we all know that autumn is a harvest season;it brings us achievements and celebrations. but this year is quite different. we are welcoming the 60th birthday of our nation!
what proves the growth of our country? what proves that our country is becoming stronger and stronger? of course, the changes, the avhievements.now we can touch the pulse(脉搏,跳动) of the social progress, the changes of clothing, food, the living conditions and so on. once my grandma said that in the planned economy, everything has its own certificate,“new dress” is only a desire and many children could only expect new clothes on chinese new year.
when my grandmother put on new clothes on new year‘s day, she would be quite satisfied and proud, because many children would come to appreciate it. at that time, new clothes are rare for common people. sixty years ago, it’s quite usual that a big family crowded in a small room. they put up a curtain separating the house into two parts, and sometimes there might be some mice. my grandma said they played only seated in bed and several children did their homework on a small table.
but now, good conditions, most families not only have a nice house with a lot of furniture, but also have more than one house. great changes have taken place gradually around us, especially after the reform and opening up. history tells us and tells future, dengxiaoping‘ construction was right. in , our country joined the wto. then we launched the shenzhou v, vi, vii and chang’e spaceship into space, and held the beijing olympics. we still remember the yesterday of last year, when the big earthquake happened, the whole nation was shocked and moved. not only volunteers but everyone was devoted to help people in need. today we see a new look of sichuan people, the energy and hope of sichuan people. what a beautiful day!
as students, we are enjoying the benefits of the progress of our country. now we are studying in a garden school which has experienced one hundred years of unusual history. look, the bright classrooms, the tall buildings, the green trees and these energetic students! we should work hard, for our future, for our school and for our nation. and i‘m sure that a better life and a harmonious society are around the corner. have you seen them?
The cheongsam is a female dress with distinctive Chinese features and enjoys a growing popularity in the international world of high fashion.
The name "cheongsam," meaning simply "long dress," entered the English vocabulary from the dialect of China's Guangdong Province (Cantonese). In other parts of the country including Beijing, however, it is known as "qipao", which has a history behind it.
When the early Manchu rulers came to China proper, they organized certain people, mainly Manchus, into "banners" (qi) and called them "banner people" (qiren), which then became loosely the name of all Manchus. The Manchu women wore normally a one-piece dress which, likewise, came to be called "qipao" or "banner dress." Although the 1911 Revolution toppled the rule of the Qing (Manchu) Dynasty, the female dress survived the political change and, with later improvements, has become the traditional dress for Chinese women.
Easy to slip on and comfortable to wear, the cheongsam fits well the female Chinese figure. Its neck is high, collar closed, and its sleeves may be either short, medium or full length, depending on season and taste. The dress is buttoned on the right side, with a loose chest, a fitting waist, and slits up from the sides, all of which combine to set off the beauty of the female shape.
The cheongsam is not too complicated to make. Nor does it call for too much material, for there are no accessories like belts, scarves, sashes or frills to go with it.
Another beauty of the cheongsam is that, made of different materials and to varying lengths, they can be worn either on casual or formal occasions. In either case, it creates an impression of simple and quiet charm, elegance and neatness. No wonder it is so much liked by women not only of China but of foreign countries as well.
