听了智叟的话，愚公感叹地说：“你的思想真顽固!没错，我的力量很有限。但我还有那么多儿子和孙子，他们将来也会有儿子、孙子。子孙的繁衍是不会停止的，因此我们的力量会越来越强大。可是山却不会增高，我就不信不能把山铲平。”智叟摇了摇头，他虽然不理解愚公的行为，但也无法反驳。后来，天帝听说了愚公移山的事情，被他的精神和诚心所感动，于是派了两个神仙将两座大山背走了。愚公一家的出行一下子变得非常方便了。
愚公移山的做法看似很愚蠢，但他的观念却很值得我们学习。只要我们有他那种坚定的信念和顽强的毅力，那么无论多么困难的事情都能做到。
战国时期，国与国之间经常发生战争，战争给老百姓带来了深重的灾难，于是很多国家聚在一起商议停战。为了让大家遵守停战协定，国与国之间通常都会交换太子互相作为人质。
魏国和赵国达成了停战协议，魏国派遣大臣庞葱陪魏太子到赵国去做人质。临走之前，庞葱对魏王说：“大王，如果现在有一个人对大王说，街上出现了一只老虎，大王会相信吗?”
魏王摇了摇头，说：“街上怎么会有老虎呢?我当然不会相信。”
庞葱又说：“但是，如果现在有第二个人也对大王说，街上出现了一只老虎，大王会相信吗?”
魏王想了想，说：“也许我会怀疑这是不是真的。”
庞葱接着说：“如果这时又有第三个人对大王说街上出现了老虎，那么大王会相信吗?”
魏王肯定地说：“三个人都这样说，我当然会相信。”
庞葱说：“街上根本就不会有老虎，这是谁都知道的事情。但是如果有三个人都说街上有老虎，那么很多人就会相信。现在，我去了赵国，我想，在大王面前说我坏话的人肯定不止三个。希望大王能够保持清醒，不要轻信别人的谗言。”
魏王点头同意了。庞葱走后没有多久，果然有很多人在魏王面前说庞葱的坏话。一开始，魏王不相信这些谗言。然而，时间久了，魏王就相信了那些人的话。后来庞葱陪太子回到魏国，但魏王不再信任庞葱，所以再也没有召见他。
其实庞葱根本没有做对不起魏国的事情，但魏王最终还是听信了谗言。我们做事、看问题要有主见，千万不要盲从。
